The ULB-362PL emergency beacon is a compact underwater locator designed for automatic emergency recovery of subsea vehicles and equipment. It helps operators quickly locate valuable underwater assets after power loss or system failure, improving recovery efficiency and operational safety.
The beacon activates through an external underwater connector. When a relay closes due to power loss, the unit automatically begins transmitting an acoustic signal. As a result, recovery teams can quickly locate the affected vehicle without manual intervention.
The ULB-362PL emergency beacon is ideal for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and towed bodies. Its automatic activation feature provides an extra level of protection during offshore operations where equipment recovery is critical.
The beacon transmits a reliable acoustic signal for up to 90 days. This extended operating time gives recovery teams sufficient time to locate and recover equipment, even during complex offshore operations or in challenging underwater environments.
