3-Diver Electric Hot Water Unit
The 3-Diver Electric Hot Water Unit is a 140 kW system designed to supply hot water to three divers wearing hot water suits. The machine consists of two main sections: a pump unit and a heater unit. Operators control both sections through the integrated control panel on the machine.
Hot Water Supply
The instantaneous heater supplies hot water directly to two divers. A third diver receives hot water from the integrated back-up storage tank. This arrangement allows the system to support three divers from one unit during diving operations.
The outlet water temperature is preset to 40°C. The control panel displays the water temperature so operators can monitor the supply during operation.
Heating Control
The machine contains five heating element groups. One heating group operates automatically, while operators control the remaining four groups using individual switches. This setup provides straightforward control of the heating capacity.
The system also includes simple temperature control and limit-value monitoring.
Pump and Flow Protection
The unit requires a water supply pressure between +1.0 and +4.0 bar with a flow of up to 48 litre/min from the ship’s seawater circuit.
If water flow stops, the machine automatically switches off both the pump and heater. This protects the pump and heater unit from operating without the required water flow.
The Hot Water Machine uses four displays in total, with three visible on the front control panel. These provide readings for pump pressure, water flow and water temperature.
