Communicator 2006F Dynamic
The Communicator 2006F Dynamic is a portable communication device for use by a breathing apparatus technician and operator. The complete system comes in a flightcase and includes a 6-channel Communicator type 2006, a headset and a battery charger. Its six communication channels allow up to six workers to communicate with the operator through one central communication unit.
Each channel has an independent input volume control. Therefore, the operator can adjust the incoming volume of every connected channel separately. This gives the operator individual control over the communication level of each worker rather than using one common input setting for all six channels.
The Communicator 2006F Dynamic combines this six-channel arrangement with clearly audible sound and a robust design. In addition, the communicator can work together with an external speaker set when required.
Battery-Powered Operation
The Dynamic version uses a built-in battery with a stated capacity of 12 VDC / 7 Ah. The battery allows the communicator to operate for up to 20 hours. As a result, the Communicator 2006F Dynamic can continue operating from its internal battery without requiring a permanent power connection during use.
A battery charger comes with the Dynamic version, allowing the built-in battery to be charged for further operation. This distinguishes the Dynamic model from the Electret version, which requires a continuous power connection.
The combination of the communicator, headset and charger in one flightcase keeps the main components of the system together in a portable configuration.
Portable Six-Channel Communication
The Communicator 2006F Dynamic measures 390 mm long, 390 mm wide and 400 mm high, corresponding to 15.4 × 15.4 × 15.7 inches. The complete unit weighs 15 kg / 33 lbs.
