Product description

ATT-400/AODC Acoustic Transponder

The ATT-400/AODC acoustic transponder is a rugged underwater positioning device developed for demanding offshore operations. It complies with the DNV-OS-E402 offshore standard and provides reliable acoustic positioning for subsea assets, inspection projects and recovery operations.

The transponder is fully compatible with existing Sonardyne systems, including Ranger2 USBL positioning systems and HomerPro acoustic receivers. This compatibility allows operators to integrate the unit into existing offshore positioning systems without replacing installed equipment. As a result, deployment becomes faster and more cost-effective.

The ATT-400/AODC acoustic transponder uses standard off-the-shelf batteries, making battery replacement simple and reducing maintenance costs. In addition, the unit features automatic water-switch activation. It powers on when submerged, eliminating the need for manual activation before deployment.

The efficient power management system provides an impressive battery life of up to 36 months. This extended operating period makes the transponder ideal for long-term offshore projects, subsea monitoring programmes and permanent underwater installations where regular maintenance is difficult or expensive.

Its compact and durable housing withstands harsh marine environments and performs reliably in offshore energy, subsea construction and marine research applications. Operators use the transponder to mark underwater structures, pipelines, subsea equipment and other valuable assets that require accurate positioning.

The ATT-400/AODC acoustic transponder supports offshore inspection, underwater navigation, asset tracking and recovery operations. It also assists survey teams by providing dependable acoustic positioning throughout long deployment periods.

Whether supporting offshore construction, subsea inspection or long-term underwater monitoring, the ATT-400/AODC acoustic transponder delivers reliable positioning performance, excellent compatibility and extended battery life. It provides a dependable solution for professional underwater operations where accuracy and durability are essential.
