The Emergency Escape Line System, article code T.98.01091, provides a dedicated compressed air supply for emergency escape situations. The system uses a rack-mounted 20 litre cylinder with a working pressure of 200 bar. This setup keeps the main emergency air supply components together in one fixed and organised frame.
The cylinder includes a valve and a 1st stage pressure reducer. The reducer lowers the pressure from the cylinder before the air reaches the Low Pressure side of the system. In addition, a pressure safety valve forms part of the pressure control setup.
The system includes two Ø 63 mm pressure gauges. One gauge shows the High Pressure side, while the second gauge shows the Low Pressure side.
This separate pressure indication allows the operator to monitor both stages of the system directly from the rack. As a result, the condition of the cylinder supply and the reduced pressure side can be checked individually.
The pressure gauges, reducer and safety valve work together as part of the air supply arrangement. Together, these components provide a clear and practical layout for managing the emergency air supply.
A connection manifold distributes the air from the system. This manifold includes four quick coupling connections, giving the rack four individual outlets for single line hoses.
Each quick coupling can connect to a single line breathing air hose. The hose then runs from the emergency escape line system to the air distribution block of the worker.
Therefore, the system can provide up to four separate single line connections from the same rack-mounted emergency air supply. This arrangement keeps the main supply centralised while allowing individual hoses to run toward the workers.

The Emergency Escape Line System therefore provides a central emergency breathing air supply that connects directly to the workers’ air distribution blocks through single line hoses.
