Edelhoff Anti-Panic Helmet Testing Kit
The Edelhoff Anti-Panic Helmet Testing Kit, gives technicians a dedicated way to check the breathing air performance of the Edelhoff anti-panic helmet. The instrument focuses on the main functions that require verification before use: regulator pressure, breathing air flow and overall helmet functionality.
The system allows the technician to test both the primary and secondary helmet regulators. Each regulator can be checked for static pressure, which helps confirm that the regulator meets the required minimum specifications.
Primary and Secondary Regulator Testing
The test panel includes separate connections for the primary and secondary regulators. This makes it possible to test both air supplies individually.
The stated pressure range for the primary regulator is 1.8–2.0 in. H₂O. The secondary regulator operates within a stated range of 1.2–1.5 in. H₂O. In addition, the instrument shows an exhaust value of 2.5–3.0 in. H₂O.
The panel also states a maximum helmet operating pressure of 125 PSI / 8.6 bar.
Breathing Air Flow Measurement
Besides pressure testing, the kit also checks the air flow supplied to the helmet. A built-in flow meter measures this flow and helps the technician determine whether the regulators provide the required minimum amount of breathing air.
The combination of flow measurement and pressure testing gives the technician two important checks in one instrument. As a result, the kit supports a quick functional assessment of the helmet breathing air system.
Integrated Manometer and Test Connections
The test instrument includes an air pressure indicator / manometer for pressure measurement. A pressure sensing connection supports testing of the helmet regulators.
The front panel also includes a dedicated helmet test port, along with clearly marked primary and secondary connections. This straightforward layout keeps the main test points together and makes the testing process easy to follow.
Protective Case
The complete instrument comes in a protective case. The case helps protect the equipment from moisture, dirt and dust during transport and storage.
