Transportable HD DVR Video System
The transportable HD DVR video system combines an HDDVR control unit with two explosion-proof cameras in one complete video system for use in inert environments. The transportable configuration supports both stand-alone operation and integration into a life support panel mounted inside a container or vehicle.
The HDDVR control unit brings the main video monitoring, recording and camera control functions together in a compact unit. Its housing measures 320 × 220 × 120 mm, making the complete control unit suitable for the portable system configuration. A built-in 13-inch LCD monitor provides the video display, while an integrated 128GB solid state drive stores recorded video.
The control unit also provides three video input sockets and one video output. These connections allow the cameras to connect directly to the HDDVR system. Operators can pause recording when required, while the integrated keyboard supports real-time typewriting.
Pan and Tilt Camera
The system includes a 50 mm pan and tilt camera with its own 50 m cable reel. The control unit includes a camera joystick, allowing the operator to control the pan and tilt camera directly from the video system.
The pan and tilt camera uses a sapphire glass window and includes a dimmable high-light LED for illumination. An automatic camera reset function forms part of the camera configuration. The camera also carries an IP 68 rating.
Fixed Camera
A second 29 mm fixed camera completes the two-camera configuration. Like the pan and tilt camera, the fixed camera comes with its own 50 m cable reel.
The fixed camera uses 15 dimmable high-light LEDs. It also carries a CNEX zone 2 classification. Together, the fixed camera and pan and tilt camera provide two separate camera positions within the same transportable HD DVR video system.
Portable HDDVR Configuration
An 8800mA li-on battery powers the portable configuration, and the system includes a charger. This battery-powered arrangement forms part of the transportable setup alongside the control unit, LCD monitor, recording storage and two camera systems.
The result is a single transportable video system that combines camera viewing, recording and direct camera control. Users can operate the system independently or integrate it into a life support panel inside a suitable container or vehicle, while maintaining access to both the pan and tilt camera and the fixed camera from the same HDDVR control unit.
