Product description

ATT-400 Acoustic Transponder

The ATT-400 acoustic transponder is a compact underwater positioning device designed for accurate target location and long-term subsea deployment. It provides reliable range and bearing information when used with compatible acoustic receivers, making it an ideal solution for commercial diving, offshore operations and underwater surveys.

The transponder works with the STI-350, DTI-300 and VADR series acoustic receivers. When one of these receivers interrogates the unit, it provides accurate range and bearing information for targets up to 750 metres away. This allows divers and surface operators to locate underwater equipment, markers and subsea assets quickly and efficiently.

The compact design makes the transponder easy to transport, install and deploy. It operates at depths of up to 1,000 metres and delivers dependable performance in demanding underwater environments. Its robust construction supports long-term use in commercial diving, offshore energy, scientific research and marine construction projects.

The ATT-400 acoustic transponder can remain deployed for up to 18 months, making it an excellent choice for long-term underwater monitoring and asset marking. In addition, users can program the unit to operate as a free-running acoustic pinger when continuous acoustic signalling is required. This flexibility allows one device to support multiple underwater applications.

The transponder helps divers mark underwater work sites, subsea structures, pipelines, scientific instruments and valuable equipment. It also assists search and recovery teams by providing accurate underwater positioning during complex recovery missions. Its long battery life reduces maintenance while increasing operational efficiency.

The ATT-400 acoustic transponder combines reliable underwater positioning, flexible operating modes and durable construction in one compact unit. Whether locating underwater assets, supporting offshore inspections or marking subsea installations, it provides dependable acoustic performance and accurate navigation data.
