Headset with EO Male Connector
The 3M™ PELTOR™ CH-3 Headset with EO Male Connector provides listen-only communication and hearing protection for use in high-noise environments. The headset combines the CH-3 speaker system with the FLX2 cable system and an EO male connector, creating a simple and reliable wired connection for communication equipment.
The CH-3 speaker system focuses on speech frequencies, helping the user hear conversation in noisy surroundings while maintaining hearing protection. The speaker system also meets the efficiency demands of today’s digital devices. This makes the headset suitable for protective communication where clear speech reproduction and noise attenuation are required.
EO male connector and FLX2 cable system
The EO male connector is an important connection feature of this headset. Together with the FLX2 cable system, it provides a straightforward and reliable wired connection. The headset does not include Bluetooth, a built-in two-way radio or built-in FM or AM radio.
The headset supports external audio input and operates as a listen-only communication solution. It does not provide a level-dependent function for ambient listening.
Comfort, attenuation and maintenance
The modern cup design provides both comfort and attenuation for use in noisy working environments. Available attenuation ratings are 28 dB and 30 dB. The headset uses a noise-attenuating design and is part of the PELTOR™ CH-3 product series.
3M rigorously tests the critical parts of the headset. Users can change these parts without special tooling, which contributes to lower maintenance costs and makes servicing the headset more straightforward.
Multiple wearing configurations
The CH-3 headset comes with a choice of headband, neckband or helmet attachment. Earmuff styles include over-the-head, behind-the-head and hard-hat-attached configurations, allowing the headset to match different suspension requirements.
The standard version comes in bright yellow. A bright blue version indicates Explosive atmosphere (Ex) approval. The product information lists both intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe versions.
