The hammer features an ergonomic D-handle with a protected trigger that helps prevent accidental operation during use. The handle includes a durable plastisol coating that improves grip and comfort, even during extended underwater work. As a result, divers maintain better control while reducing hand fatigue.
The CH18 hydraulic hammer uses a slide-latch tool bit retainer that securely accepts .580-inch hex shank round-collar tool bits. This system allows quick tool changes while ensuring the bit remains securely in place throughout demanding operations.
Its rugged construction makes the hammer suitable for continuous use in harsh offshore and underwater environments. In addition, the high-visibility yellow finish improves tool visibility, helping divers identify and retrieve the hammer more easily in low-visibility conditions.
