Tunnelling Life Support Systems
Hytech-Pommec supports tunnelling operations with custom-built life support systems and pressurised personnel locks for underground compressed air environments. The systems support access to pressurised work zones, hyperbaric interventions, standby decompression and rescue operations during tunnel construction.
Modular Chamber Solutions
Personnel air locks are available for 2 to 40 persons in single- or multi-compartment configurations, with diameters from Ø 1200 to 1800 mm. Modular chamber setups can support segmented shaft and tunnel access, while medical and therapeutic chambers provide decompression or treatment capability.
Life Support and Control
Mobile life support containers are available for TBM and shaft sites. Systems can include oxygen breathing equipment, gas management panels, heating and cooling units, and manual or computer-aided monitoring and control.
Complete tunnel saturation systems are available for pressures up to 20 bar and support TBM operations under compressed air, hyperbaric maintenance, compressed air interventions and decompression treatment for tunnel workers.
