The Hytech-Pommec Basic Deck Decompression Chamber (DDC) provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for professional commercial diving operations. It combines proven engineering, durable construction, and essential life support systems in a compact design. As a result, operators benefit from safe and efficient deck decompression in offshore, inshore, and inland environments.

Every Basic DDC meets the high quality standards of the Hytech-Pommec product range. It delivers dependable performance, straightforward operation, and a long service life. Moreover, its modular design supports future upgrades and project-specific configurations.

Choose from three chamber diameters: Ø1600 mm, Ø1800 mm, or Ø2000 mm. Additionally, a wide range of optional features allows you to tailor the system to your operational requirements.

The Main Chamber includes foldable bunks, fire-retardant mattresses, and durable floor protection for comfort and practicality. The Entrance Lock features a foldable seat and a wide access door. Large viewing windows provide a clear view of both compartments throughout every operation.

Safety remains the highest priority. The chamber includes an integrated Built-In Breathing System (BIBS), a stainless steel supply lock with an interlock system, and a certified hyperbaric fire extinguisher. Furthermore, the oxygen and carbon dioxide analyser continuously monitors the chamber atmosphere. A UPS backup system keeps critical equipment operating during power interruptions.

The ergonomic control panel simplifies daily operation. Clearly arranged controls, precision gauges, digital monitoring, and integrated timers improve efficiency. Meanwhile, the communication system, internal speakers, microphones, and emergency backup communication keep operators and divers connected.

Finally, the heavy-duty skid frame allows easy transport and installation. Optional cylinder storage and spare penetrators provide additional flexibility for future expansion.
